I’ve said before that Mt. Pulag is one of my dream climbs. I thought I’d finally have the chance to make it come true when I got invited to a Pulag climb on the last weekend of this month. Then earlier today came the very bad, horrible news. It might get cancelled because there are only seven of us who are joining. The jeepney rental going to the jump-off is too costly to be shouldered by only seven people so the organizers are thinking of just calling it off. Now this is the part where I start groveling and begging. (It works in getting me on the plane whenever I’m late for my flight so here’s hoping it’ll work here as well.)
Please please please join us on this Pulag climb on November 23-25, 2012 via Akiki-Ambangeg trail. You’d get to climb a beautiful mountain (or so I’ve heard) and you’d be doing a noble deed by making at least one wimpy mountaineer very happy. I’m sure that counts for something in heaven or in your next reincarnation or in the fulfillment of humanist ideals.
How can you say no to this? (I can’t do a poor-puppy-dog-eyes look so here’s a photo of an actual puppy to make your heart melt.)

hahahaha…grabe talaga eto, may ganitong peg talaga! …:-) andaming naka schedule na Pulag Climb this month atsaka next month pwede naman maki join sa ibang group.. pati sa FB meron ng nag-propromote para sa’yo (sir Ed) hehehe. sama ka na lang sa amin Tin!
Uwi na nga akong Gensan by Dec. 18 kaya di ako pwede sa sched nyo. Oo, advocate na rin nito si Ed. Hehe. Eto lang kasi talaga ang sched na pwede ako, at least for this year kaya matimtiman ang pagpupumilit kong matuloy ‘to.

Oh no. I would have wanted to join this but I’d probly be in Kalinga on those dates.
We weren’t rewarded with a good weather and sweet views the first time that’s why I want to set foot on Pulag again. Loser me.

honestly, ayaw ko din munang gawing Makiling ang Pulag. Baka madis-enchant ako. hehe so talagang di tuloy sina Master? Ang pwede niyong gawin, one way na lang yung jeep. Mas mura. Tapos makisabay kayo sa Ambangeg pabalik, most likely meron dung mga campers. That’s what we did nina Vernz. 6 lang din kami nag-Akiki that time so the concerns were the same.

Natuloy po ba to? These are exactly the dates kung kelan umakyat kami ng Pulag, also by Akiki-Amba. Only two groups registered on the 23rd – kami and a group of three. Baka isa po kayo dun.
Sana nga isa ako dun but unfortunately, hindi. Haha. Di kami natuloy. May apat kasi na nag-back-out. Ayon. So Pulag still remains a dream climb for me. :-/
